Database Systems Journal was founded in 2010 in Economic Informatics and Cybernetics Department, within Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
This is an open-access, peer reviewed and indexed journal, available online.
Since 2021, all papers are published in a single annual volume, which is continuously updated throughout the year as new articles are accepted.
The journal is published under the sponsorship of The Bucharest University of Economic Studies and it is produced by the university's own publishing division, The Bucharest University of Economic Studies Publishing House.
